Before you order

Length, power and whether it can go outside

Three figures decide almost every lighting order, and all three are printed on the box.

  1. Measure the run, then add a fifth. Lights drape rather than sit flat, and the slack has to come from somewhere.
  2. Check the power source before the length. A battery set can hang anywhere; a plug-in set has to reach a socket, and the lead length counts.
  3. Outdoor rating is only what the box states. Where no rating is printed we do not claim one - treat it as indoor use.
  4. Do not join more sets than the packaging allows. The joining limit is set by the maker; exceeding it is an electrical risk, not a warranty question.
